AYLO turns the alarm notifications on and off by itself. You do not have to do anything. These are features that simply work. You set the alarm limit per battery bank once, and AYLO does the rest.

When the boat has the status 'In harbour', 'Sailing' or 'At anchor', the battery alarm switches on automatically and sends you a text message if the voltage falls below the limit.

Behind the alarm

AYLO measures all the time — also when there is nothing to report

For an alarm to be worth trusting, there have to be measurements behind it. AYLO listens in on the boat's own network around the clock and keeps what the batteries report — each bank on its own.

That gives up to a year of history, hour by hour: you can see the single night at anchor, and you can see the battery that has slowly got worse across a season.

The alarm reads the voltage from a battery shunt on the NMEA 2000 network, for example a Victron SmartShunt.
