These terms apply to every order placed through aylomarine.com. By completing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
2. Prices, currency and VAT
Prices are shown in one currency for the whole shop, and it follows the country you choose in the store: Danish kroner (DKK), Swedish kronor (SEK), Norwegian kroner (NOK), pounds sterling (GBP) or euro (EUR). Countries we do not sell in separately are shown prices in euro, and if we have not yet set prices in a currency, the shop shows Danish kroner instead. Whichever currency the shop shows you is the one you are charged in, and your card issuer may convert it to your own currency at their rate.
All prices include 25% Danish VAT, in every currency. The price you see in the basket is the price you pay — there are no fees added at the payment step, and your receipt states the VAT amount separately.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before the order is dispatched and you may cancel free of charge.
3. Payment
We accept Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and MobilePay. MobilePay is only available for payments in Danish kroner, so it is not shown in the other currencies. Payment is handled by QuickPay. Your card details are entered on their payment page and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
The amount is charged when your order is placed. You receive a receipt by email as soon as the payment is approved.
4. Delivery
We deliver to Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany. Shipping is free on orders of DKK 300 or more (EUR 40, SEK 450, NOK 480, GBP 35); below that, standard shipping costs DKK 59 (EUR 7.95, SEK 89, NOK 95, GBP 6.95), regardless of country. Orders are normally dispatched within 2–4 working days, and you receive an email with a tracking number when your parcel leaves us.
If we cannot deliver within 30 days, you may cancel the order and have the full amount refunded.
5. Your subscription
The AYLO unit needs an active licence to work, so a 12-month subscription is part of every hardware order. The subscription costs 1 788 SEK per 12 months, including VAT, and new customers get 6 extra months free on the first period.
Your subscription renews automatically for a new 12-month period until you cancel it. We attempt to charge the card you paid with 14 days before the current period ends, and the licence is extended by another 12 months once the payment succeeds. You will be told the exact renewal date in your receipt and can see it on your profile page at any time.
You can cancel at any time from your profile page, or by writing to kontakt@aylomarine.com. We email you 14 days before each renewal payment, so you always know what is coming. Cancelling stops future renewals; the period you have already paid for runs to its end, and we do not refund part of a period. If a renewal payment fails, we tell you and try again a few times over the following days — the licence stays active until the paid period runs out.
The full terms for the subscription — renewal, failed payments, cancellation, price changes and what happens when it ends — are set out in our separate subscription terms, which you accept together with these terms when you order.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to withdraw from your purchase, counted from the day you receive the goods. To use your right of withdrawal, write to kontakt@aylomarine.com before the 14 days are up. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods to us.
The goods must be returned in a condition that lets us sell them again. You may unpack and examine the unit as you would in a shop, but if it has been used beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value from your refund. You pay the cost of returning the goods.
We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method you used. If you withdraw from a hardware purchase, the subscription bought with it is cancelled and refunded in full.
The subscription is treated separately. At checkout you are asked to confirm, as a separate choice, that your subscription may start immediately and that you therefore lose your right of withdrawal on it once it has started. That choice applies only to the subscription — your 14-day right of withdrawal on the hardware is unaffected, and using the unit does not remove it. If the unit has been used beyond what is needed to examine it, we may deduct the resulting loss in value from your refund. See section 8 of our subscription terms for how that works.
7. If something is wrong with your order
You have two years of statutory protection under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven). If a fault appears that was present at delivery, we will repair, replace, refund or reduce the price, depending on the situation.
Contact us at kontakt@aylomarine.com within a reasonable time of discovering the fault, and describe what is wrong. We cover reasonable return shipping for a justified complaint.
The protection does not cover faults caused by incorrect installation, water ingress beyond what the unit is rated for, modification of the hardware, or normal wear.
8. The service and your data
AYLO records data from your boat so that the app and the portal can show it to you. We use your data to deliver the service, and we do not sell it. Some features need an internet connection to work — the AIS function in particular fetches its data over the internet.
We may update the software and change or improve features. If a change materially reduces what you have paid for, you may cancel your subscription and have the remainder of the period refunded.
9. Cookies
aylomarine.com only uses cookies that are needed for the site to work. We do not use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking, and we do not share cookie data with anyone. That is why we do not ask you to accept cookies.

Fonts and images on the site are served from our own servers, so visiting a page does not send your IP address to Google or other third parties. Payments are handled by QuickPay on their own pages; their cookies are covered by QuickPay's own policy.
10. Complaints
If we disagree, write to us first at kontakt@aylomarine.com — most things are settled that way. If we cannot find a solution, you can complain to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Centre for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk.
Consumers in the EU can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Danish or EU law.
